Horizon Drone Surveying is a family-run business founded and operated by Robert and John Garvie that has been providing high-quality drone surveying services since February 2023.

Our company was founded with the vision of using innovative UAV technology to disrupt traditional methods, deliver precision and accuracy in data capture while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Our team consists of certified drone pilots who are committed to providing the best possible service to our clients. We use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to provide a wide range of drone surveying services.

Robert Garvie

Having operated as a business owner within the Transport and Logistics industry for 20+ years Robert brings long-standing commercial experience and knowledge to the business, aiding in driving and delivering straight to market services for our clients.

A passionate advocate for safety and efficiency, Robert is a GVC qualified CAA UAV pilot with an active role in operational and service delivery.

John Garvie

With a varied background as a Health and Safety manager for 11 years across a number of high-risk sectors, John carries a strong understanding of the risk profile presented in UAV activities.

John is a GVC qualified CAA UAV pilot and is involved in the operational delivery of Horizon Drone Surveying services and, along with Robert, guides the strategic direction of the business.
